What owners wrote

“ABS warning comes on then steering wheel jerks. Additionally, traction control and 4WD is shut off”

Filed Apr 24, 2026

“While drivinh ABS module stopped working in 2019 Ram 1500, found out their is a recall but my vehicle is not included....The OEM module is back ordered since Covid....This is unacceptable because that tells me this is a common problem and should be addressed.”

Filed Mar 11, 2026

“Diagnosed brakes at repair shop and advised ABS Module failing. Saw online recalls for certain vehicles yet our 2019 has the issue and nothing was noted for recall. I have 4 daughters and our safety and the safety of others is at risk with a faulty system, The lights on the dash appeared a few days ago and went away and now have come back and have stayed on.”

Filed Oct 22, 2025

“ABS sensor isn't working so it doesn't stop correctly. They say they can't get a new one because they are back ordered so this must be happening to other Ram trucks besides mine if they are back ordered so far out they can give me an ETA on one.”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 4 of 46 reports involved a crash and 3 people were hurt. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
