“Service electronic braking system/ service antilock brake system, (ABS). My local dealership stated this is a nationwide known issue for the past three years with manufacture and supplier issue and that there is no no remedy or fix for this at this time.”

“the failed component is the ABS control module. this is very common with these trucks. parts have been on back order for years. The result of this failed component is no ABS and no traction control which is a huge safety issue. the Engine fault code is C2200.”

“While driving down highway, the ABS light and traction lights came on and cruise control was disabled and brakes was catching as if applying the brakes. After stopping, tried to place the truck in 4WD to no avail. Reset the light by disconnecting the battery, but the warning light for traction came back on and then went off several times when there was no obvious reason.”
