What this problem usually is
Stalling reports are some of the most alarming on the site. The engine quits while the car is moving, sometimes on a highway and sometimes at a stop. Many owners say it restarted right away and the dealer found no stored code, which is part of why these complaints pile up before anything gets fixed.

The crankshaft position sensor tone wheel may delaminate, causing the engine to lose its ability to synchronize the fuel injector pulses and cam shaft timing, possibly resulting in an engine stall.
A high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) failure may introduce internal debris into the fuel system, potentially resulting in fuel starvation.
A gear within the transfer case may not have been installed correctly, possibly causing the vehicle to become stuck in neutral. If this occurs while driving, there could be a sudden loss of power.
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler may crack and allow pre-heated vaporized coolant to enter the EGR system. This mixture may combust inside the intake manifold.
The instrument cluster may not properly illuminate driver warnings. As such, these vehicles fails to conform with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays."
The rear driveshaft may have an incomplete weld fusion between the tube and tube yoke, which may lead to weld cracking or the driveshaft fracturing.
Due to an incorrect assembly repair process, the auxiliary battery wire terminal connection may overheat.
The rear differential may have been insufficiently filled, possibly resulting in its failure.

“Vehicle has 23,400 miles. When filling fuel tank, pump shuts off quickly without filling tank and spills gas back out. Dealer say valve in tank is problem and need to replace tank at cost of $3k. No check engine warning lights on dash.”

“Purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 used, with 43k miles earlier this year. Twice, the trucks computer, and fuel gage said I had more then a quarter tank let in fuel. Twice, I have run completely out of gas, stalling the truck, and left no way to accelerate. Almost causing an accident.”

“I was Driving On the Highway doing about 70MPH and the truck shut down on me and i had to Coast to the Sholder across 3 Lanes of traffic. Truck would not restart and had to have it towed. Had to Have the Truck towed to Dodge and when they looked at it they put it on the Computer and there were no Issues. This is scary”
