What owners wrote

“2 cracks near the rear sliding glass window allows water in the cabin. As a result, there is visible water damage on the headliner.”

Filed Aug 13, 2024

“My windshield wiper speed slowed down then stopped in the middle of my windshield and stop working completely when it was raining. I had to pull over and wait for the rain to stop so I wouldn't cause an accident. I know there is a recall on the ram 2500 and 3500 hundred. I was wondering if the recall expanded to 1500 built around the same time?”

Filed Jul 19, 2024

“Trim cracks around rear window, allowing rain to come inside while driving, this creates a mist that is detrimental to driver safety. Water gets onto inside of windshield and in the drivers face. Needs to be addressed before someone gets blinded by the rain mist and unable to see safely.”

Filed May 9, 2023

“Back glass has crack in frame around sliding glass window. Water is leaking into the truck from crack and causing back seat, carpet, ceiling liner and airbags in the ceiling liner to get wet.”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 0 of 42 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
