What owners wrote

“While driving I loose my power steering, most of my electrical systems shut down including the radio, driver information center, AC and the stability control system. I get a quick dash warning light that says stability rack and it goes off. Issue mostly occurs while making turns making it hard to steer the vehicle”

Filed Aug 15, 2024

“My radio changes channels on its own. It disconnects my Bluetooth connection for no reason. The display screen changes from one option to another randomly. This has been happening for over a year now. My research on the internet shows many customers had their radios replaced. Soon thereafter the issue starts all over again.”

Filed Feb 22, 2024

“At low speed power steering will cut off and kick in opposite direction, radio will blank out followed by service stabilitrak warning has happened multiple times in last few wks since first of Sept 2023”

Filed Sep 12, 2023

“I own a 2015 Chevy Silverado LD. There was a recall that included (among other vehicles) the 2014 Silverado LD and the 2015 Silverado HD but not the 2015 LD. It is for the base radio audio output not working causing audible safety warnings to not work as well. I have this problem on my truck. I took the truck to a local dealership but they claimed to have no knowledge of this faulty condition.”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 1 of 38 reports involved a crash and 1 people were hurt. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
