“Electric parking brake light keeps coming on also the shifters light comes on a lot as well”

“My parking brake turned on by itself when I started my 2015 Jeep Cherokee and would not turn off. The parking brake light also came on. It is available for inspection. My safety and others safety was put at risk because my car could have stopped running while I was driving. I will be taking it to my local Jeep dealership to have it looked at. I have had a mechanic look at it but was told he could not fix it.”
