What this problem usually is
Airbag complaints split into a few kinds. The most common is an airbag warning light that won't go out. Others involve the passenger seat sensor switching the passenger bag off with an adult sitting there, an airbag that didn't deploy in a crash, or one that went off without a crash at all. A large share also come from owners waiting on a recall part.

The right and left side curtain air bag inflators may rupture due to a manufacturing defect.
The side air bag inflatable curtain (SABIC) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator, or the inflator sidewall may rupture.

“I ran off the road down an embankment causing a frontend collision, and the airbags did not go off. The passenger seatbelt did not restrain the front passenger causing injuries”

“Air bags deployed while vehicle was parked and engine not runningâ¦.vehicle was not hit or tampered with ..I was inside vehicle vacuuming when air bags went off without any warning..insurance gave me points for incident when there was no reason for air bags to deploy and I had to pay deductibleâ¦I should be reimbursed”
