“Ram has known for years that they have Exhaust Manifold issues but will not recall any of the Hemi engines affected. Many complaints start in 2015 and go into 2020 models. They say it is a known issue, but no recall. This defect causes a ticking noise when a cold start and goes away, what doesn't go away is the leaking of exhaust from the manifold that can enter the cabin. This could be very serious.”

“Ram 5.7 hemi engine exhaust manifold leak ticking sound if itâs not fix or the bolt snap the smoke coming from the exhaust can be suck on the vent and can have a carbon monoxide poisoning inside the truck please I just found out that itâsbeen a known problem for dodge ram trucks and nothing is being done by the company to recall or fix such problem than you”

“Mid-year 2022 began noticing a ticking sound coming from the truckâs engine bay. The sound seems to lessen or stop after the engine has warmed up. Have not had the vehicle inspected at dealer but local mechanic believes these issues are related to the manifold bolts due to this being a recurring problem on RAM models with the Hemi engine.”
