“The abs module has an internal short, yes. The abs, traction control, and trailer brakes stopped working as a result. Yes. No. The failure happed abruptly and only showed warning lights after the part failed. The failure appeared while driving resulting in reduced braking and some skidding.”

“ABS BRAKE WARNING Light came on and others warning lights. Error Code C220-49 Anti-Lock Brake Module Internal Failure-Electronic. Also lost cruise control, traction control, trailer brake controller and anti-lock brakes. Parts are on Nationwide BACK Order due to the massive failure rate. Safety Issue especially when towing and using OEM trailer brake control.”
