“Parked my truck and service power steering light came on. Took it to the dealer and they confirmed that it is the power steering control module failed internally. I see that there is a common problem with the same issue, I bought this truck and it only has 37,000 miles on it”

“I was driving in a 55 MPH 2 lane road, when all of sudden the power steering went out. I had to man handle the steering wheel back to my house. It has 122000 miles on it but that should never happen, could of been a real bad outcome. I have checked out everything and have narrowed it down to the EPS system.”

“My truck has 57,000 miles it's a 2014 ram 1500 and overnight the power steering unit failed. Replacement part from mopar is $2,100. Luckily I wasn't driving when this happened but there were no early signs of failure. Tried to go to work and couldn't drive the vehicle because the electric power steering unit had an internal software failure and is not driveable”
