“My truck software was updated for the recall even though I was having no problems with the transmission. Post the software update I am having problems with jerking in the downshifting of the truck. It is very concerning as it pulls the truck very hard. The software update caused a problem that didnât exist until it was done.”

“Transmission downshifts into low gear while traveling 65 mph causing driver passenger to lurch forward. Does this also at slower speeds.”

“Truck started shifting funny recently. Kept not paying it any attention but had a harsh sudden downshift at 50 miles and hour to first gear. Thought it blew the engine the RPMs were so high. I hit the brakes and the rear wheels locked up around 43 mph. No issue since but I know there was an issue with previous years”
