“I started experiencing a rough idle and engine misfire. The check engine codes indicated cylinder 3 misfire. Was advised several times to replace spark plugs and coils but after no success had further diagnostics that showed crack in cylinder 3 allowing coolant to leak into the engine. Required new engine at 96k miles.”

“My truck is only 5 years with 54,500 miles and the engine light came on. Code 302 came up. I spent 400 to change the spark plugs and the ignition coil #2. Light went off and came back on. Next the dealership said the Coolant is leaking into the cylinders and I would need a new engine. $10,000. Contact Ford because we can't help you. My warranty just ended 45 days ago. Now What!”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 0 of 686 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
