What this problem usually is

The crankshaft position sensor tone wheel may delaminate, causing the engine to lose its ability to synchronize the fuel injector pulses and cam shaft timing, possibly resulting in an engine stall.

“When trying to fill my tank with gas, the pump would automatically shut off. In order to fill my tank, I would have to pump the gas very slowly. This takes 15 minutes or more to fill my take. I checked to see if there were any recalls, however, there were 0 recalls. There were no warning lamps or other indicators associated with this problem.”

“3.0L diesel engine may have been built with a high pressure fuel pump ("HPFP") that could fail prematurely. A HPFP failure may introduce internally failed component debris into the fuel system potentially causing fuel starvation. Engine loss power then when is fully operational and stop at sing then then engine stalls the next thing happens suddenly accelerated.”
