What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. The mirror glass may detach from the driver's side heated trailer tow rearview mirror. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

“The vehicles, multimedia hub fails in hot weather, not allowing connections from the phone for Maps and CarPlay/androidauto. I have had the media hub replaced two times under warranty and the issue never resolves. Public forums show similar complaints from other drivers of the same make and model.”

“Camera system unavailable error on a blue back over camera screen. Started at about 40000 miles. Intermittent at first but now is consistently inoperable.”
