Suspension:Front:Control Arm:Lower Arm

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Prologue vehicles. The right front lower control arm may contain a manufacturing defect that can cause it to fracture.

Risk and remedy
Risk: A right front lower control arm fracture can cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the right front lower control arm as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 3, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is PIY.

“weak CV joint in the front axel produces a click-noise during front turns. inspected @ manufacturer dealership, parts are on back order. Apparently this is a known issue. Additionally, the HVAC system required valves to be replaced on a new car (>3000 miles)”
