What this problem usually is
These reports start with the check engine light. Many describe the engine running rough or shaking at idle, a P0300-series code, or a catalytic converter code. “My car starts hesitating, like it won't take gas. I can't get out of the way of other vehicles and almost got hit and my check engine light started flashing. I had to turn my car off and restart. The check engine light went away but it still sputtered and wouldn't take gas, I had to drive show. If I don't back off, the engine light comes on and flashes and I have to shut it off.”

“Tried to get this recall completed for about 11 months now at two different McGrath honda dealers and they continue to say they do not have the parts even when check engine light was on.”

“Randomly all (12 or 13) warning lights come on my dash. Everything from check engine, cruise control problem, hill start problem, braking problem, tire pressure problems, etc. Honda claims they don't find any problems with my car, but I have had this happen for years. Even under warranty, the dealership and Honda of America did nothing.”
