American Honda has identified a condition that may affect Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) operation. Due to software programming issues of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), unexpected vehicle deceleration may occur.

Either Fuel injector not properly installed or issue with fuel pump. As per Service Bulletin 19-032, this is issue with fuel injector but VIN lookup not showing my VIN for recall and warranty repair. please do needful.”

“Twice this has happened. Driving on normal city streets, approximately 35 mph, come to the metal plates on the road in construction area Nad car slams on its brakes and comes to a complete stop in traffic, almost causing an accident and scaring heck out of the occupants of the vehicle.”

“On multiple occasions I have received a notice to brake, but there is nothing in front of me. It's even started to break a couple times. When these incidents happen, there was nothing in front of me. It was a clear lane... This has happened while adaptive cruise control is on and when it is off.”

“3-29-2022 forward collision warning - BRAKE - showed on display in front of steering wheel. There was no vehicle in front of me for a great distance. This had not happened before but the automatic braking system has malfunctioned 2-3 times per year for the 3 years I have owned this car. I reported that to this site last week and have discussed that issue a number of times with 5 dealer employees to no avail.”
