“Engine Service warning appeared this morning and the vehicle immediately lost power to a maximum of 20 mph. The same thing happened approximately 2.5 months ago. A Ford dealership technician checked it out could not find an issue and cancelled the check engine light. Both times this occurred on a busy road and could have led to a potential collision with another vehicle.”

“Engine failed while driving on highway. No noises, just check engine and multiple other warnings on instrument panel turned on. The vehicle lost power but would still drive at about 25 mph. I was able to stop the car in a safe place and after turning it off for 10 minutes it started up again like normal.”

“Freeway driving - normal conditions. Vehicle suddenly loses most power and all the warning lights appear. After powering off for a couple minutes then it will act normal with check engine light on. This happens multiple times in a couple hundred mile drive.”

“Had recall updates completed 3-11-24. ..23C41, 24C01, 23E09, 23E07 3-12-24 Maverick dies on the interstate going around 65mph. It just stopped running. I was able to pull over and after waiting several minutes was able to continue driving with the check engine light on. Took it back to the dealer and was told nothing was wrong. It has happened 2 more times dyeing at 65mph. 3-13-24 and 3-19-24”
