What owners wrote
“While driving at normal speeds. Car completely stopped working. Dashboard flashed to get to safe area. I could not shift the car neutral. Steering became stiff. The lights and infotainment was still on but the car had no power to accelerate. Had this been on the highway I would have been in a collision since my car went to the right very quick. Once car was stopped could not shift to neutral.”

“While reversing into my driveway towards my garage, the rear parking aid did not show the truck with the radar bars on the reverse camera on the infotainment screen. The rear parking aid was on and was beeping, but did not show the radar on the screen. I restarted the vehicle and put the car in reverse and the radar began showing in the top right corner. I will attach pictures to this report.”

“When I shifted to reverse to leave a parking space, a message popped up on the cluster saying âCamera Not Available. Contact Dealer.â An image then did come up and stayed frozen on the screen for the entire key cycle. The next time I drove the vehicle, the camera operated as intended. Picture attached showing frozen image while vehicle was in Drive gear.”

“My backup camera failed, the frame froze. As I was backing into a parking spot I hit a wall when the screen in the vehicle showed that I was still 5 or 6 feet away. As I reversed direction and pulled away a few feet to check the damage I noticed that the screen had not changed; it still showed that I was 5 or 6 feet away. When I restarted that vehicle the camera returned to normal functioning.”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 2 of 27 reports involved a crash and 2 people were hurt. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
