“I have an Electronic Brake System in my Ford Fusion. I rarely use the function. However, when entering into my vehicle, the Electronic Brake System is flashing BRAKE repeatedly, even when I never placed it in that function when turning off my car prior. I went to get my car tested and nothing was found. No problem codes. This may be a defect with the car itself.”

“Front brake line failed and lost brakes while pulling in to garage causing petal to go down to floor. Contacted Ford dealer and was told that only 2015 on up were covered by recall. this is a life safety issue that needs to be fixed. I replaced both front brake lines on my own.”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 15 of 117 reports involved a crash and 15 people were hurt. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
