What owners wrote

“Brake system malfunctioned during commute. Safety was put as risk because no warning lights or recall/notice of failure were communicated. The brakes did not stop the car. The car is currently in the shop (Ford dealer) where it was shared that the rear brake hose is split. This is was the unsolved recall is associated with the car. However Ford Motors did not warn me that the brakes were having issues on the car.”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 6 of 56 reports involved a crash and 4 people were hurt. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation. How reports land on this sheet.
