What this problem usually is

“Brake flexible hoses split and brake fluid leaked, causing brakes to become unusable. Light came on indicating low brake fluid level on 9/14/21. Service manager at local Ford dealership confirmed on the phone that my mechanic could fix it and I would be repaid, but now he is denying my refund.”
