What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display.
The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.
The incorrect dash wiring harness was installed, which can result in inoperative trailer lighting.
The wiring harness for the rearview camera and the center brake light may short circuit, which can disable the rearview camera image and center brake light.
The instrument panel cluster may experience an internal short circuit and fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Controls and Displays."
A hybrid control processor (HCP) software error may cause the defrosting and defogging system to be inoperative.

“Radio keeps resetting it self, the screen freezes then shuts off. Now the door locks are not working correctly. Ever since I bought the jeep brand new the key fob does not always unlock the doors. Jeep dealership along with the engineers do not know how to fix the issue”

“The jeep would shut off while driving. Lights in dash flash and beep and a message is displayed to put car in park to start while the vehicle is off but coasting.”

“Updated the center screen and minutes later, my Wrangler popped and the frontal collision, CEL, Stability Trak lights came on And the truck came to a halt in traffic on a busy street. I shockingly was not hit, and got the truck to the side of the road. And I was able to army crawl the truck to the dealership. The vehicle was grinding gears and the 4xe system was completely inoperable. This was extremely dangerous.”

“Installed telematics box module update on 10/10/25. Now the Jeep is continuously saying to service the electronic assistance system and will lose complete power while driving and display the âshift to Parkâ and service engine light is on (lost power 3 times in less than a 2 mile distance).”
