What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.
The wiring harness for the rearview camera and the center brake light may short circuit, which can disable the rearview camera image and center brake light.

“Gauge cluster display screen failed and is blank. This screen provides critical vehicle information such as gas level, speed, vehicle error notifications, etc. It is unsafe to drive without being able to see this important vehicle information. This a common failure issue on these models.”

“The instrument cluster stopped working while driving. The panel is now black with no vehicle information displayed. The vehicle matches the description for a recall that has already been issued, but this VIN was not included in the recall. The current recall should be expanded to include this VIN #.”

“The driver-side visor in my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL which has been repaired previously, continues to fall out of its bracket. This presents a significant safety risk while driving in bright conditions when the visor is unavailable to block/screen sunlight.”
