What owners wrote
“Digital speedometer stop working. It wonât display. It has happened before, and itâs happening again. This is dangerous to my driving as I have no idea how fast Iâm driving when there is no display of my speed. I read from Honda Pilot community there are many others Honda Pilot owners have this same issue. This should be safety recall as itâs driving safety issue. Thank you for looking into my concerns.”

“My speedometer display keeps going blank in the instrument cluster. I will be driving and it would go blank, and stay blank in extented periods of time. This is a car not driven much due to this reason. The milage is still 70k. The speedometer gage goes blank and does not turn on.”

“Four warning lights have been on for the past week. Brought it to Honda for diagnosis and repair, and they state that the multi-purpose camera has failed and will need to be replaced at a cost of $1,900. This is seems like a huge safety issue and, after reading several forums, appears to be a global issue.”

“The radio intermittently changes volume, brightness level, turns off/on all by itself. This has caused the volume to get so loud I have to take my eyes off the road. There has been several other complaints online about this. It's dangerous to be driving to have the radio all of a sudden startle everyone and the driver tries to fix it while driving”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 0 of 58 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
