The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
Due to a manufacturing error, the connecting rod bearing in the engine may wear and seize, damaging the engine.
The fuel tank assembly installed by Braun may be susceptible to the fuel tank overfilling into the charcoal canister. If the charcoal canister fills with a sufficient amount of fuel, fuel may leak out.
Loose battery terminal connections or a degraded battery may cause the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) to unexpectedly reboot. Upon rebooting, the TCU may shift the transmission to the "Park" position, possibly damaging the parking rod.

“My 2018 Odyssey has a problem of High Pressure Fuel Pump malfunction. It is come to know that and it can cause stalling the vehicle while running and can cause accident. The same fuel system is shared by 2018 Honda Pilot which had a recall. But Manufacturer did not issue a recall notice for Odyssey's yet.”

“Fuel pump failed. Other Honda Odyssey's of same year had a fuel pump recall. This particular VIN was not included but failed in a similar manner. We were required to pay out of pocket to repair. NHTSA RECALL NUMBER:23V-858”
