Water may enter the outer door handle cables for the sliding doors. If this occurs, the outer door handle cables may freeze in cold temperatures, preventing the front and rear sliding door latches from securely latching.
The wire harness for the third row seat accessory power outlet may get pinched between the unibody and rear trim panel, possibly damaging the wires and causing an electrical short.
The latch assemblies for the power sliding doors may stick and not properly latch to the door strikers.

Rear latches failed to open resulting in one Rear door cable breaking and one that will not open at all 9/1/2026. Neither door opens at this point.”

“Power lift gate and power sliding doors failure alerts keeping showing up. They flash on and off on the display even while driving which can be very disruptive. The issue occurs randomly every few weeks The dealer quoted close to $2000 to attempt to fix it”

“Passenger side sliding door consistently failing to close. Each time problem occurred the showroom needed to reset the door. While traveling if this slide door open it is closing back. Until reach showroom I have to drive van when door opens and it beeping. It happened couple of times therefore I am afraid to open the door. Thank you!”
