Due to a manufacturing error, the connecting rod bearing in the engine may wear and seize, damaging the engine.
The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
The fuel tank assembly installed by Braun may be susceptible to the fuel tank overfilling into the charcoal canister. If the charcoal canister fills with a sufficient amount of fuel, fuel may leak out.
Loose battery terminal connections or a degraded battery may cause the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) to unexpectedly reboot. Upon rebooting, the TCU may shift the transmission to the "Park" position, possibly damaging the parking rod.
The timing belt teeth may separate from the belt.

“I received a safety recall notice from Honda which is informing me that the parts for the fuel pump recall are now available. However, the second sentence of the letter states that the recall applies to 2018-2023 CR-V vehicles and I own a Honda Odyssey, not a CR-V. The letter is confusing since I do not own a CR-V.”

“approximately one year ago a safety recall was issued by Honda on 12/18/23 re Honda Odyssey fuel pump issues. Yet one year later it is not appear urgent enough to Honda or NHTSA because it still cannot be repaired/replaced. Does NHTSA really care about driver safety?”
