“Early this year the crankshaft seized while driving. The engine was promptly replaced and I carried on my way. Then 7k miles later, the replacement engine that GM sent also blew up and was a total replacement. Hopefully the third engine lasts longer.”

“The lifters stuck and it ruined the cam shaft. This was repaired and then when driving home, the engine seized and started smoking. The engine was then diagnosed with complete failure and it had to be replaced. The engine had been upgraded a year or two earlier to the 0W-40.”

“Engine seized while driving on my local interstate hwy. No warning lights came up. Towed to the dealer and they confirmed the engine was locked up. Engine needed to be replaced.”
