What owners wrote
“On Saturday (April 19th), I looked at my rear tire, passenger side, and noticed a bolt inside my hub. After seeing that I parked my vehicle. This morning I called Al Packer Ford East, told them I had this issue and know its a recall, the lady told me I needed to drive my vehicle in for them to be serviced, when I told her it was unsafe, she well that not my problem.”

“Rear axle seal busted because the rear axle hub bolt broke. Dealer indicated this cause the axle boot to bust allowing water into the differential. Dealer stated parts for recall aren't available and/or are on national back order. Ford estimates a fix will be in place 1st quarter 2025. So I am out of a vehicle until this time. Ford refuses to cover a rental.”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 0 of 30 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
