The fastener securing the Power Distribution Box (PDB) 12V cable and Battery Monitoring System (BMS) eyelets to the positive battery terminal may loosen and affect the vehicle's systems such as instrument panel displays and braking or steering assist.

“Vehical shifts hard and surges forward during shifts. After sitting for a least 8 hours, the shifting will stick at 7th gear and then cycle between 1st and 7th until finally issuing a power train warning symbol (wrench). Other times it stays in 7th gear at a complete stop. This causes a slow pull out at intersections ( pulling out in 7th gear) until it slams into 3rd gear and surges forward.”

“While towing a motorcycle, the wrench light came on. The transmission over revved and slipped out of gear shifting from 1-3 and 7-8. It continued to slip in and out of gear while driving.”

“Transmission will not shift correctly between gears. When you first shift from start up it will make a hard clunk noise. Truck will start jumping and once itâs done the wrench light comes on. At one point I couldnât get it to go into reverse and I had to shut the truck off and restart it to get it into reverse.”
