The engine block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.
The rearview camera may display a distorted, intermittent, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
In the affected vehicles, the engine may continue to run after the key or the START/STOP engine button is turned to off.
Due to a software incompatibility issue, the instrument panel cluster be inoperative including a blank multiple functional display (MFD), and non-functional warning chimes, messages and warning lights.

“My car's backup camera screen goes blue then black with message saying camera unavailable when I am in the middle of backing up my car. I literally almost hit a family passing at grocery store because of this. I bought this car this year in February from Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet. Please help fix this because It's scary to almost get in accidents daily. Not to mention my insurance would sky rocket.”

“Backup camera - this vehicle not included in the recall as is having all the same issues blank screen - inverted screen - works sometimes - this has been an issue for some time and I contacted the ford dealer I use who states the repair is over 400. and do not know why this vehicle has not been included in the recall.”
