“Recently the "check engine light came on, scheduled the car for service at the local GM dealership. The car only has 67700 miles on it, and the timing belt needs to be replaced. I believe this is ridiculous, this shouldn't be an issuse at all. The cost to repair the timing chain with labor is arounf the 2k mark. I understand this to be a problem with this engine type, and was advised to submit a complaint.”

“My engine currently burns a large amount of oil and I consistently have to refill it. I see this is a common problem with the 2014 Chevy Equinox with the 4 cylinder, 2.4 liter engine and I feel should constitute a recall. The only alternative would be I must pay for my engine to be replaced.”
