“I was driving in busy traffic with no warning signs, no check engine lights when all of a sudden my engine lost power an would not restart. I had to get a tow from Kentucky to Michigan to a near by Mechanic where he ran a boroscope. The timing chain failed which then valves hit the pistons. I know this has been a big problem for this year equinox.”

“Car can not hold oil. It uses a lot of oil. Plus the engine went out due timing chain belt and clogged pcv valve. Costing thousands of dollars. Plus Iâm locked in car payments for a vehicle that has known issues.”

“The camshaft sensors have been replaced when the code POoo14 made the engine light Activate. I'm worried that the timing chain could possibly cause an accident if it seizes the engine. I have under 73,000 miles on a 2014 Chevy equinox. Please advise Thank you”
