What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. “For over six months, I have been unable to see my dashboard during the day. It is stuck on night mode. This causes the driver to be unable to see fuel gauage along with other warning lights that may be displayed. This is extremely dangerous and could cause unexpected vehicle stops on roadways. I have mentioned this to the dealership each time I am there and I'm told they don't know how to fix it.”

“During the day you can not see any of the display in the dash for fuel, MPH, any warnings as the electronics are stuck in the night mode and the only time you se see them is when itâs dark outside.. this is the 2nd time the car has done this it did it the first time last year about this time the only way I found to fix it was to disconnect both batteries”
