What this problem usually is
These reports start with the check engine light. Many describe the engine running rough or shaking at idle, a P0300-series code, or a catalytic converter code. “Fuel pump injector needs to be replaced at approximately 68,000 miles. Honda issued an extended warranty on fuel pump injectors for 2018-2019 models but refuses to cover replace it. Check engine light came on due to injector failure. This poses an extreme safety risk.”

“2019 Honda Odyssey purchased new and one owner. Vehicle's VIN didn't fall under Honda TSB # 21-010 despite vehicle suffered a known defect pattern so Honda denied assistance soley due to VIN exclusion. Sequence: emissions system warning, P0420, injector failure diagnosis, consequential catalyst failure after injector malfunction.”

“The 2019 Honda Odyssey experienced an engine failure while driving on the highway in the Chicago area in Illinois. The engine began knocking, then failed completely. It was towed to a local Honda dealer, where the technician noted visible metallic flecks in the oil once drained. No check engine or other warnings occurred prior to the failure.”
