What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. “The rear view camera randomly became unavailable after starting the car. Restarting the car did the fix it. In my online research, it is said that the cause is a faulty wiring harness that Ford used between 2014 and 2017, which would affect my car (2015).”

“Backup camera doesn't work. Received a recall letter from Ford but when I brought the car in for repairs they checked it and got it working. Three days later it again stopped working. They said that even though I received a recall letter from Ford the backup camera is not covered by the recall.”
