“Engine seized up at 70 mph on highway. Loss of all power and was lucky to coast off road in heavy traffic. Vehicle had just passed safety recall inspection two weeks earlier. Replacement engine installed at dealership, but it failed and second replacement engine currently being installed.”

“Engine seized up while traveling on interstate at about 75 mph. No warnings. No lights. Just no power and a message on the dash instructing me to restart the engine. This was at the tail end of a 6.5 hour road trip. I was able to put it in neutral and coast to safety. Luckily it was not in a high traffic area.”

“Engine seized up while traveling on the interstate at about 80 mph in traffic and rainy weather. Vehicle was able to coast to the side of the roadway. No warnings or lights. Gauges were normal. It just shut off out of nowhere. Vehicle never got past 20% warning for oil changes and proper oil was always used.”
