What owners wrote

“Had to get the front windshield replaced with only about 2,000 miles on the car, had a crack across the entire windshield. Now with only about 6,000 miles. I have another chip on my windshild. I barely drive on the freeway and have nomal driving conditions. This shouldn't be an issue on a new car. Windshield is fragile and makes me worried glass is unsafe.”

“Windshield seemed to crack spontaneously with only 4000 miles. I don’t see an obvious impact area from where something hit the windshield.”

Filed Jul 23, 2023 · 4,000 miles

“My windshield failed. I have 2401 miles on the car and out of nowhere it had a huge crack the next day when I went to take my kids to school. It puts us at risk of shattering at any moment. It gets bigger as the days past. Yes I have reported it. It has been happening to a lot of 23 Telluride owners. No warning light or anything came on.”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 0 of 42 reports involved a crash and 1 people were hurt. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
