Warning lights on other Accord years

Report counts are for each model year on its own, so a newer car has had less time to collect them. Model years with too few reports of it for a sheet: 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026.

What this problem usually is

This sheet is for the moment the whole dash lights up at once: a string of warnings for systems that seem to have nothing to do with each other. Sometimes features drop out. Sometimes it's all gone on the next start. When that many systems complain together, it makes sense to look first at what they have in common.

Recalls and investigations

One recall on the electrical system covers the 2014 model year. A recall on the same system isn't always the same failure, so read the defect text.

The case for the battery sensor, part of the battery management system, may allow water to get in, potentially causing an electrical short.

What owners wrote

“Was driving to work on April 11,2025. Engine stopped working after stopping at red light, all lights on dash came on-causing me to have to push the car from a main road into a business in order to not impede traffic or get hit. Had to have it towed to a body shop. Waiting to see what is wrong with the car, will update with more information as I have it.”

Filed Apr 11, 2025

“ABS module/modulator is faulty. Dashboard lights come on and anti lock brakes do not work in rainy conditions or any condition when braking hard to stop. Many people have experienced the exact same thing. The dealership confirmed that it is the abs/gas modulator.”

Filed Sep 23, 2023

“Vehicle abs modulator failed this looks like known issue with multiple complaints on the site but no action is being taken this a huge safety hazard for all consumers. I have all lights on in my dashboard and I have realized my abs brakes failing numerous times while driving in slippery conditions. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY HAZARD AND HONDA IS DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT!”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 1 of 44 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation. How reports land on this sheet.
