What owners wrote

“No accident involved . Warning lights pop up on dashboard. Honda diagnosed that my ABS modulator need to be replaced. I have seen many comments online that many people are experiencing this problem. Fix is very expensive and people who can least afford it are going to be driving without this problem being corrected and maybe causing accidents which could be fatal. Will provide diagnosis by dealer if requested.”

“ABS modulator failure. Brake lights and warning lights flashing all the time. Maintenance/Repair shop diagnosed as ABS modator failure. But Honda does not have this part. On backorder with NO estimated delivery date. I called several Honda dealers and OEM Mf parts dealers in the nation - all say part not available. Now my daughter is driving a car with faulty ABS.”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 2 of 37 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
