What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. In the event of a low battery charge, the electronic door latches may remain locked once the driver or front passenger exits and shuts the door, possibly trapping someone who is unable to use the inside door release handles, such as a child in the back seat.

“Received a front camera fault warning in the car. The fault disables the safety feature of pre-collision-collision assist. Had an independent service center check it out, they let me know there is a TSB from ford. Waiting for the a scheduled appointment.”

“Several people with known issue of âpre collision alertâ having to replace coax cables and impa camera. I am no longer under warranty and have to pay out of pocket til this becomes a recall. Cruise control will stop working when getting this alert”
