“Ford has installed a sub par HVBJB in my car which was manufactured in 12/01. In lieu of replacing the poorly designed unit they have added software that does not guarantee that the car will not brick. Numerous car have failed and I am afraid of having my wife drive the car at night for fear of it breaking down. This is a ticking time bomb.”

“on 8/22/2022 received a powertrain malfunction notice by Ford. Since that time on four occasions the vehicle has lost power causing a significant jerking and loud thud. It loses all power. This has happened twice after Blue Cruise has disengaged. Two other times include when the vehicle was placed in drive or reverse. It also caused a lurching motion after it engaged without the foot on the accelerator.”
