What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. “The apim module is failing causing hvac, radio, phone connection, navigation to not work at all. The screen takes a lot of time to come on when starting the truck. Hoping it dosen't go out while backing up. Other vehicles have recalls on this buy not my truck.”

“Dash instruments, radio, compass, overhead console, all blank and inoperable. Was told by for service that many vehicles 2017 to 2019 are having same problem. Told the instrument cluster module powers multiple areas of truck and will need a new module. Was told there is a glitch in the design.”
