What owners wrote

“Acadia Denali had Takata air bag inflater replaced, service air bag light is still on. Dealer stated there is a side air bag problem as well. 2014 Acadia’s had previous recall for side airbag issues, most likely is same issue the vehicle isn’t listed. Contacting corporate regarding issue.”

“Air bag light is on constantly. Unknown if this affects the airbag in terms of deployment during an accident or if malfunction is the problem”

Filed Jan 24, 2023

“Thinking it’s possibly the front passenger air bag isn’t working properly. The Air Bag light will go on and off for no apparent reason while someone is or isn’t in the seat. Makes me scared for anyone who is to sit in the front passenger seat; knowing that there’s possibly a danger issue.”

Should you keep driving it?

This page can't tell you that. 0 of 60 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.

File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
