What owners wrote
“Sudden and severe downshifts occurred at roadway and highway speeds resulting in sudden speed decrease. Also revving and loss of power occurred. Problem codes P0706 & P0707 were logged which point directly to the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS), which is integrated into the molded lead frame. This sudden and uncontrolled loss of speed caused significant danger to vehicles, ocupants, and other vehicles.”

“Loss of power, no throttle response while driving. Happens when the throttle is advanced at a faster pace like taking off from a traffic light. I get the "See Manual" message and the wrench symbol. Turning off and then turning back on the vehicle clears the fault. Known problem with the Throttle body.....Can you say Recall?”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 1 of 35 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
