Well, GM is at risk for liability if I'm in a crash where this airbag might deploy. Can I have this airbag deactivated while I wait for a remedy? What are my options?”

“This car was flagged with a recall back in may and it still hasn't been addressed. The manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for my vehicle in a timely manner”

“in may 2023 gm announced a defective airbag and then sent a letter in june 2023. however, i still am unable to obtain the recall replacement for the defective airbag at the dealer. as a result i have been unable to use my car, including having to rent an suv for our annual family vacation in july 2023 which cost nearly $900.”
