What owners wrote
“Transmission delays in shifts. Whine coming from transmission as well. New torque converter and thermal bypass installed with new transmission fluid and filter. Truck was diagnosed and itâs okay in Chevrolets computers. This is a scary and unsafe way of feeling scared if transmission will fail.”

“Vehicle has shut down twice while turning. When action happens the stability controls are turned off, parking assistance is turned off. All lights on dash flash. With this vehicle having electronic steering, I have no control of this vehicle when it shuts down while driving. Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 0 of 40 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
