What owners wrote
“I paid for a "Torque Converter Shudder, TSB U760E" repair. Toyota called this an "extended warranty" issue. I believe it should have been called a "recall". I did not recieve any notification of Toyota's extended warranty notice. Thus I put off the repair of the car. Unfortunately I had the car repaired after when the extended warranty expired, date and milage.”

“There is a problem with these vehicles made from 2012-2014. The car shakes and stutters at around the 40 MPH range. The shudder comes from the transmission, especially during the acceleration of the Camry models. It can be alarming for the driver and be a safety concern when the gears do not properly change during operation.”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 0 of 80 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
