“Less than 24 hours after the transmission issue was fixed, I was driving down the interstate with my speedometer registering 147 MPH. I immediately took the vehicle back to the dealership. While the vehicle was in "Park", the speedometer was reading 80 MPH. Technicians were unable to replicate the problem, and I'm stuck with a vehicle that I'm not sure registers an accurate speed.”

“The vehicle reads the speed limit signs improperly and the adaptive cruise control will speed up the vehicle to the improper speed limit. For instance it is 45 mph on SR 70 in TN and the vehicle will read the speed limit as 70 mph and take off up to 70 mph on it's own. Very dangerous. Took it to 2 dealers and they are unable to fix the problem.”

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2026 Rogue vehicles. The instrument panel may not display the transmission gear selection indicator. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect."
Risk and remedy
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the transmission control valve assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261. Nissan's number for this recall is PD198. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on July 2, 2026.
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2026 Rogue vehicles. The incorrect-size spare tire may have been installed, which does not match the tire size and inflation pressure information on the tire placard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Risk and remedy
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the spare tire assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 25, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261. Nissan's number for this recall is PD180. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on January 6, 2026.
